Delete your Rosie account

This page is for Rosie: Wine Companion by Emerald Lion Technologies Ltd. You can delete your account and its data at any time, for free.

In the app (quickest)

1. Open Rosie and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom and confirm.

It happens straight away, on every device.

Without the app

Email hello@askrosie.app with the subject "Delete my Rosie account", from the email address you sign in with (Apple or Google). We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in link with Apple or Google.
• Your profile: name, quiz answers, wine type and settings.
• Your recommendations, chats, ratings and plans.
• Your scan history and subscription record with our payment provider (RevenueCat).

What is kept, and for how long

• Database backups: deleted data can remain in our restore history for up to 30 days, then it's gone for good.
• Server logs: technical logs (never photos or what you type) for about 30 days.
• Wine-list text: lists you scanned are stored without any link to you, and deleted after 12 months unused.
• Anonymous crash reports and usage: never linked to your account, so they can't be traced back to you. Crash reports are kept 90 days.
• Purchases: Apple or Google keep their own records of what you bought, under their policies.

Rosie Plus

Deleting your account doesn't cancel Rosie Plus. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, or you may keep being charged.
